Chris Fentener Van Vlissingen

Successful organisations are always seeking improvement and seizing every possible opportunity. To do this, you must be willing and able to question even the most ingrained values and beliefs of the organisation and its environment. This can be extremely challenging. I use my status as an independent and unbiased outsider to help enhance the organisation in the role of sparring partner, process supervisor and specialist.

Chris Fentener Van Vlissingen has been an associate partner at Holland Consulting Group since March 2015. Van Vlissingen advises on strategy, online and offline innovation, decision-making, management and organisation. He functions as an advisor, supervisory officer, director and online entrepreneur and has a wealth of experience in management consultancy, media, family businesses and NGOs.

Van Vlissingen is the initiator of De Collectieve Code, an expertise centre for collective organisations. In these kinds of organisation, groups of stakeholders hold joint control and sometimes play an active role in business operations as well. This can either help or hinder the organisation's performance. Examples of such organisations include buyers' co-operatives, volunteer organisations, co-operative associations and family businesses with co-working family members.
